Diving in Cenotes Dos Ojos is a must do in the area: not only for its spectacular beauty but also for being a great Cenote to begin your cavern journey. It’s good starting point because it’s shallow, it offers an exceptional visibility and lots of sunlight entrances.

”Dos Ojos” means “Two eyes” and it gets its name from its shape, surrounded by jungle when observed from an aerial point of view.  The caves have a maximum depth of 30 feet/ 9 meters, and the water is exceptionally clear.

Diving in Cenote Dos Ojos gives you the chance to explore 2 cavern circuits: the barbie line and the bat cave. Both last about 40 minutes, the perfect time to contemplate various light beams, stalactites, stalagmites and other calcareous formation.

Not only is it part of the longest underground system of the world,  but it’s also famous for being the home of a huge biodiversity of bat species!

What to expect ? One of the most famous Cenotes around the world, a perfect spot to start cavern diving: easy, lots of light and with beautiful formations

Location: Tulum.

Includes: 2 Dives; Equipment; Flash lights; Snacks and water; Transportation from Playa del Carmen or ; Certified Guide in Caves and Caverns.

Duration: 5 hours.

Requirements: A minimum age of 10 years; good state of health; not taking flights at least 18 hours after your last dive; PADI Open Water Certification.

We recommend a refresher dive for beginners that have not been diving for over a year
