Description

PADI Nitrox Speciality

The PADI Nitrox or PADI Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular PADI specialty diving course. Why? Because diving with enriched air gives you more time without decompression, especially on successive dives. If staying longer underwater and being able to come back sooner sounds appealing, then this is what you’re looking for.

What to expect: You’ll learn why diving with air that has more oxygen and less nitrogen gives you more background time, along with considerations for enriched air equipment. During a practical session, and two optional (or compulsory) dives you’ll:

  • Discuss the management of oxygen exposure.
  • Practice analyzing the oxygen content of your diving bottle.

Adjust your dive computer to dive with nitrox enriched air.

Location: Playa del Carmen.

Includes: Theoretical class; study material; PADI Certification; transportation (consult if it applies to your area); snacks and water.

Requirements: A minimum age of 16 years (consult your region); good state of health; not taking flights at least 18 hours after your last dive; PADI Open Water Certification or equivalent.

Where will we meet? If you’re in Playa del Carmen’s city center, we’ll pick you up for no extra cost. So, in case you’re staying anywhere else, we’ll have a meeting point.
