Description

Diving in Cenote Tajma Ha + Ponderosa

Diving in Cenote Tajma Ha + Ponderosa allows you to visit 2 different cenotes on the same day of diving. They’re located within 25 km from Playa del Carmen.

This is where three cenotes are connected! The entrance is formed in the Cenote Tajma Ha, by continuing our way we get to the sugar bowl Cenote and then moving forward to the esmeralda Cenote. It is a very dynamic dive, with beautiful formations, sunlight entrances, halo clines and thermoclines, maximum depth 12 meters or 45 feet.

Cenote Ponderosa is located within the territory of the Cenote Jardin del Eden where the dive starts. It’s a cenote with beautiful sunlight entrances, and halo clines with thermoclines, the maximum depth of this cenote is 14 meters or 60 feet.

We recommend this diving tour to start in the cenotes. There’s large space, a lot of sunlight and shallow waters.

This is a 2 in 1 tour: you’ll get to know 2 differents Cenotes in one day!

Here are all the details from this dive:

What to expect? Great adventure in the Mayan jungle, 2 dives 40 minutes each, incredible light effects, halo-clines, thermoclines, huge calcareous columns, stalagmites and stalactites.

*Cenote entrances are not included

Where do we meet? If you’re in Playa del Carmen city center, we’ll pick you up and it’s included in the price, if you’re anywhere else, we’ll have a meeting point.

Requirements : Minimum certificate of open water or equivalent; not taking flights for the next 18 hours after last dive, minimum age of 16 and good state of health.
