Small but great group. My wife and I got the AOW and Enriched Air certifications here. Really appreciate instructor Chino! He is enthusiastic and has lived in the area for many years. Since it was our first time in Mexico, he was very helpful in recommending local food and restaurants. We will definitely dive here again next year!

Chino is the absolute best scuba instructor we have ever had the pleasure of diving with. The entire crew over at their shop is just incredible. Eduardo, who does the scheduling, was so quick to respond to any question we had and always worked with us to go the cenotes and sites we most wanted to dive. 100% would recommend them to anyone. We’re already planning our next trip back to the area again soon, just so we can dive with Chino again asap!

I highly recommend Acuaticaribe for diving in Mexico!!! I took a PADI open water course with Eduardo. From clear communication to detailed instructions, Eduardo was EXCELLENT in making sure that I learn how to dive safely. The team also takes care of everything from pickup and drop-off at my hotel, equipment, boating, and snacks. Chino was also very helpful and comforting during diving. Overall, I couldn't praise them enough for their kindness and attention. GRACIAS!!!

Eduardo and Chino were great. Very friendly, professional and helpful. My wife and I took the fast boat from Playacar out to a Cozumel reef dive and a ship wreck. Once we got back Eduardo was kind enough to drive us right back to our resort. I can honestly say these guys go above and beyond. You meet at their quaint dive shop in town. Get geared up then everyone heads to the water to board the fast boats. The boat ride itself is a bit of an adventure. Send Eduardo an email to get set up. He responds quite quickly. Well done fellas. 🍻

Simplemente Genial! Desde la comunicación y planificación, hasta los buceos, todo fue muy fluido, fácil y accesible. Eduardo fue muy claro y preciso en contestar todas nuestras dudas logísticas desde antes de llegar a Mexico. Cuahutli (Chino) fue nuestro guía en los buceos y no puedo decir nada mas que Impresionante! Ademas de la experiencia y seguridad que Chino transmite, su calidad humana es de otro nivel. Eduardo and his team were recommended by a local resident. After some heavy research and comparison of several dive shops, i elected to use acuaticaribé. Communication was excellent - before and during our entire trip via whatsapp. They were transparent about rates and fees, and arranged pickup/dropoff transport. Their rental equipment is well maintained. They were also extremely accommodating to our group of 5, making sure we were able schedule tours together, even if some wanted to just snorkel at sites. All on the team are amazing and knowledgeable, including Poncho, Mauri, Carla, and Berenice, but CHINO is #1 in my heart. Such a genuinely kind person who is passionate about scuba, PDC, and people! He is patient, gives detailed info, and makes sure everyone feels comfortable about the dives. Can’t wait to go back and dive with them again.

I had the best experience diving with Chino in Playa del Carmen! I haven’t been diving for 11 years and was nervous. With Chino’s help, I was able to have a refresher on skills before taking my first breathtaking dive. He was patient and caring, and helped me work through my nerves. Whether you’re a novice diver or diver with many dives under your belt, I would 100% recommend Chino and his team to get those fins wet! 👌🏻
