Known by the Mayas to be the entrance door of Xibalba (the death world), these two cenotes are located inside the world’s biggest underground river system; Sac Actun – Dos Ojos System, a underground river system recently found to connect and run for a total of 215 miles.
There are over 5000 cenotes listed to this day and another 5000 estimated to still be explored.

Requirements: Minimum age 12 years and good health, certification open water minimum. Do not take a flight 24 hrs after your last dive.
